We have been working with publishers to better engage and better understand children, youth and parent audiences for 10 years. Content marketing is our specialism, but we don’t always know the full story.

When we started talking to our friends at publishing business bible, The Bookseller about a new content offering, we had to say ‘yes’! Why? Because there are some questions we don’t always know the answer to. How does point of sale fit in promotion? Is there a formula to selling children’s books? How does an author get commissioned? What do authors want to see in the marketing of their titles?

Our new podcast in collaboration with The Bookseller will answer these questions and more. With author interviews and insight from those working in the industry. This collaboration ticked a number of important boxes for us. Meeting people from a side of the children’s publishing eco-system we don’t speak to daily, and an opportunity to work closely with the brilliant team at The Bookseller. We also get the chance to learn-from, and to create engaging and intelligent content, serving the children’s book industry we have been working with for a decade.

Charlotte Eyre, the children’s editor at The Bookseller, adds a warm and professional touch when presenting, and the production team at Rocket have worked wonders to make the guests comfortable and articulate in the way they deliver the stories. Launching on the 5th May, with Charlotte, author Ben Miller and with industry insight from Georgia Henry – children’s specialist campaign manager at Rocket.
