We’re back with new episodes of Rocket Fuel! A series of conversations at the intersection of commerce, culture and creativity with a focus on youth marketing. What has changed in the world of youth marketing in the last 12 months?
Rocket Fuel is the series of one to one interviews with those who affect youth culture and youth marketing. We created this series to learn and generate insights from great minds and generate headlines for us and our listeners to discuss and harness.
What can you expect from each episode?
Each episode follows a similar structure taking on a new take on youth marketing. We get to know someone and ask about their background, we then ask them about their current work and finally we ask them for their Rocket Fuel. Their Rocket Fuel is their practical insights and take-aways into how best to engage youth and family audiences.
This is our fifth series, so there are over 50 episodes to listen back to. With marketers from KFC, The Woodland Trust and the NCT. Media owners such as Kiss Radio, FunKids, Snap, The Week Junior, AEG Music and MEGA Magazine.
Thinkers like Rory Sutherland, James O’Malley and Mark Stevenson. Educators from The Global Academy and Brixton Finishing School. We also have entertaining individuals like national treasure Andi Peters and then WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
What can you expect from season 5?
This upcoming series features interviews with student beans, a social enterprise devoted to giving young people a voice, a AI infused robot designed to make education fun, a parenting blogger & author of a book about bringing up boys and the chief fun officer of a games company .

Hosted by our CEO James Erskine, we asked him about Rocket Fuel so far and his season 5 highlight. “This season is pretty unique – episode 3 is with an AI robot! Very interesting and a must-listen. My highlight so far? I have been lucky enough to present every episode and have learnt loads and benefitted hugely. My favourite episode is the very first one I recorded in Season 1… I uncomfortably discuss sex with the founder of ‘women’s empowerment business’ Killing Kittens!”
If you would like to feature on the next season, please get in touch with James @JamesErskine, on X formerly Twitter.
The new series drops Wednesday 17th January!
